140 delegates from UK cultural institutions, government departments, educational establishments and image libraries gathered for a major international conference on the latest online access trends for image collections.
Overall, the conference provided an educational platform for a subject which is fast becoming recognised as a commercial necessity. Organisations represented included BBC; The British Museum; Courtauld Institute; Department for Business, Enterprise and Regulatory Reform; Hulton Getty; Kings College London; Royal Academy of Arts; Science Museum; The National Gallery; UK Intellectual Property Office; V&A.
